- Description
- The 366th Contracting Squadron, Mountain Home AFB, ID intends to negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Action Target, 3411 S. Mountain Vista Parkway, Provo, UT 84606, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Please see referenced Justification and Approval (F3FSF3121A001). T he requirement is to service the bullet containment (trap) area located at the indoor Base Range, Building 1390. The service will be limited to functionality testing, reasonable repairs, adjustments, safety check and overall operational maintenance. The sole source award will ensure the uninterrupted service and improved capability of the existing bullet containment trap currently at Mountain Home AFB. This document does not constitute a solicitation for offers. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. No contract award will be made based on responses received. Responses to this synopsis must be received by the listed response date of 12 June 2013. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) ( http://www.ccr.gov ) in order to be eligible for award (note: CCR is now combined with the System for Award Management (SAM)( https://www.sam.gov ), If you had an active record in CCR, you have an active record in SAM. You do not need to do anything in SAM at this time, unless a change in your business circumstances requires a change in SAM in order for you to be paid or to receive an award. If you are not registered in CCR you will need to register in SAM to meet the requirements found in the applicable provisions and clauses related to CCR registration. Registration requires a DUNS number and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Instructions for registering are available at the SAM website. AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman is applicable.
