- MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA intends to award a firm fixed priced order under FAR Part 6.302-1 for Non-Personal Maintenance Services of Sterilization equipment located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO in the amount of $97,083.52 for a base period plus one year option period. Ethicon DBA Advance Sterilization has the proprietary rights for all the Sterilization Maintenance Service on the existing Government-owned equipment in the hospital. The maintenance services are considered mission critical and are imperative to maintaining patient care. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their company's capability and certifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Angela Dexter at angela.dexter@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
