- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Belvoir, 9410 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, plans to issue a Firm Fixed Price Solicitation for renovation, repair, and/or alteration of fire alarm and mass notification systems at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) requires the construction, renovation, repair, and/or alteration of fire alarm/mass notification systems. The scope of the project encompasses the analysis of current fire detection and alarm systems in the Administration Building, Memorial Amphitheater, Facilities Maintenance complex, and Vehicle Maintenance Facility for repair, replacement and upgrade. The primary objective for this project is to repair, replace, or upgrade (as necessary) all fire alarm/mass notification components to (1) meet current code requirements applicable to the respective buildings, (2) integrate functional fire detection and mass notification capabilities, and (3) be compatible with Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) Fire Department systems for central reporting alarms. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the work as defined in this Statement of Work (SOW). The anticipated Period of Performance (POP) will be a six (6) months from notice to proceed. An anticipated site visit will be conducted for this solicitation on or about May 30, 2013. This action is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The applicable North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 238210, Size Standard $14.0 Million. Interested Contractors shall ensure that the aforementioned NAICS code is incorporated into their current System for Award Management (SAM) entity profile at www.sam.gov. The date and time for submission of quotes will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective bidders must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered in SAM at www.sam.gov. The Government anticipates issuing a formal solicitation for this requirement at https://www.fbo.gov within 10 - 15 days. The opportunity for questions and site visit information will be provided in the solicitation. Questions will not be accepted until the posting of the solicitation. This requirement may be changed; offerors are advised to monitor the website for additional information.
