- Description
- The Contractor shall perform non-hazardous solid waste refuse collection, transportation, and disposal services at Dover Air Force Base in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, commercial practices and as described in the Performance Work (PWS) with the focus on safety, sanitation and customer service. The Contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively accomplish PWS requirements in a timely manner at reduced costs, and in a way which fosters pride and ownership in the work performed. The performance period for this project will be base year with two (2) option years. The performance period is as follows: Base year:1 October 2013 - 30 September 2014 Option Year One: 1 October 2014 - 30 September 2015 Option Year Two: 1 October 2015 - 30 September 2016 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111-Solid Waste Collection with a size standard of $35.5M. The approximate issue date will be 20 June 2013 with an approximate response date of 22 July 2013. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RPF) and is issued as a small business set aside. All offers will be evaluated utilizing Performance Price Trade (PPT). This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. The entire solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FedBizOpps website to Vendors/Citizens-Find Opportunities, then search the solicitation number FA4497-13-R-0005. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov. Contractors are encouraged to offer their most advantageous/best quote. The contractor shall submit their quote by 22 July 2013, 4pm (EST).
