- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-13-T-0092 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for Teledyne D. G. O ™Brien, One Chase Way, P.O. Box 159, Seabrook, NH., 03874-3161. Teledyne D. G. O ™Brien is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) the items on this procurement. This must meet form, fit and function. The Government does not possess the drawings and specifications to allow for full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Line Item 0001-Plug Cable Connectors, 1071310-101, Plug 3 no.16, Qty 120 each; Line Item 0002- Plug Cable Connectors, 1071310-101, Plug 3 no.16, Qty 30 each; Line item 0003-CDRL is required on this purchase. CDRL is attached to solicitation, immediately following line item descriptions. Delivery is F.O.B Destination required 26 weeks after the receipt of award. Early deliveries are acceptable and encouraged as long as there is no extra cost to the government. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
