- This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for the purchase of a two (2) each transformer oil coolers at the Lower Granite Dam. The Technical Specifications will be detailed in a solicitation that is scheduled to be released in the near future. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued 100% Small Business. Place of Contract Performance Lower Granite Lock and Dam, 885 Almota Ferry Rd., Pomeroy, WA. 99347-9632 Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. If you are not SAM registered, you will need to complete and provide paragraphs (B) through (I) of provision 52.213-3 in the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice.
