- Solicitation Specifications for both projects Columbus Port Station Drawings Columbus MPO/VMF Drawings Return Package The U. S. Postal Service intends to award two roof replacement projects: one for the Columbus, OH Main Post Office and VMF located at 850 Twin Rivers Drive, Colulmbus, OH 43216 and one for the Columbus OH Port Station located at 4299 Sawyer Road, Columbus, OH 43236. All work will be done in accordance with USPS approved specifications and drawings. The estimated cost range for the Columbus Main Office/VMF project is $3,200,000 to $3,500,000 with construction completion within 365 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range for the Columbus Port Station project is $450,000 to $500,000 with construction completion within 180 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS LIMITED TO PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS. A PRE PROPOSAL MEETING will be held at the Columbus Main Office on June 13, 2013, at 10 A.M. Following the meeting, a walk-through will be conducted at the Main Office and then the Port Station. ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The SOLICITATION PACKAGE is attached to this posting. QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOON EASTERN TIME ON June 27, 2013. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. Upon award, the name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The names of offerors and the amount of their offers will not be released as public information. This information is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, Exception 4.
