The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the following in support of UH-60 aircraft: PRID: AB494 NOUN: Transmission A Module QTY: MIN 40 each - MAX 180 each (MAX Includes FMS Qty: 36 each) INPUT NSN: 1615-01-105-1450, 1615-01-134-7274, 1615-01-284-6419, 1615-01-316-2658, 1615-01-316-2659, 1615-01-375-5846, 1615-01-375-5847, 1615-01-415-8387, 1615-01-503-3114, and 1615-01-503-3115 ; INPUT P/N: 70351-08100-054, 70351-08100-057, 70351-08100-061, 70351-08100-069, 70351-08100-070, 70351-08100-071, 70351-08100-072, 70351-08100-074, 70351-08100-075, and 70351-08100-076; OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-503-3115; OUTPUT P/N: 70351-08100-076 The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 4 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the minimum quantity and maximum quantity of the Transmission A Module. The Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1615-371 dated 15 November 2011 is adequate for the overhaul of NSN's: 1615-01-105-1450, 1615-01-134-7274, 1615-01-284-6419, 1615-01-316-2658, 1615-01-316-2659, 1615-01-375-5846, 1615-01-375-5847, 1615-01-415-8387, 1615-01-503-3114, and 1615-01-503-3115. The above NSN's: 1615-01-105-1450, 1615-01-134-7274, 1615-01-284-6419, 1615-01-316-2658, 1615-01-316-2659, 1615-01-375-5846, 1615-01-375-5847, 1615-01-415,8387, 1615-01-503-3114, and 1615-01-503-3115 are all Critical Safety Items (CSI). Therefore in accordance with Public Law 108-136, these items are sole source to Sikorsky Aircraft, Cage Code 78286. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request's (SAR) in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Award of this requirement will not be withheld pending SAR's. It has been determined that this requirement cannot be met by commercial items. Therefore, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 will not be used. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
