- Description
- Project: New Mental Health Building for Expansion of Services at the Marion VA Medical Center, Marion, Illinois. The work consists of construction of a new building; this is a quote mark turnkey quote mark building not physically connected to any other existing structure on the campus. The building houses approximately 25,000 SF on two occupied floors and a mechanical penthouse. The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside utilizing the Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures. Request for Proposal (RFP) W912P9-13-R-0719 will be available on or about 29 May 2013 with a closing date of 28 June 2013. Offerors will be required to provide a technical proposal separate from their pricing proposal for consideration of award. The technical proposal will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. Those offers deemed to be technically acceptable will then be evaluated based on the lowest price submitted. No plan or specifications, or CDs will be provided. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov and verified as a SDVOSM via www.vetbiz.gov in order to receive an award.
