Description
A solicitation for award of a firm fixed price contract will be issued on or about May 28, 2013. Approved sources are Airtronics, Inc. (Cage 58078) and BAE Systems Information (Cage 80249). P/N: AT-501-1020 and 1024327G-3. NSN: 1680-01-493-8794; Quantity: 7339 each. FOB: Destination; Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. Delivery: 136 DARO. PPIRS applies; the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation; In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. Mark IAW MIL-STD-130N, dated 17 Dec 2007. Configuration Control applies. Sampling for Inspection and Testing shall be IAW ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008, dated Jan 1, 2008. Any alternate plan must be approved by the PCO. A sampling plan that accepts on zero defects is required. Any defective item discovered during inspection may be cause for rejection of the entire contract quantity. Mercury or Mercury containing compounds shall not be intentionally added to, or come in direct contact with any hardware or supplies furnished under this contract. Exception: Functional mercury used in batteries, fluorescent lights; required instruments; sensors or controls; weapon systems; and chemical analysis reagents specified by NAVSEA. This NSN has shelf life. Products delivered under this contract shall be manufactured/cured/assembled to ensure that a minimum of 85% shelf life is remaining at time of receipt by the government activity. Shelf life markings shall be in accordance with the latest revision of MIL-STD-129. Shelf life for this item is 24 months. The supplies shall comply with applicable packaging requirements of the latest edition of the International Civil Aviation (ICAO) technical instructions for the safe transport of dangerous goods by air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code), Title Forty-Nine of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR), and Air Force Joint Manual (AF JMAN) 24-204, Preparing hazardous materials for military shipments. All performance test requirements shall be supported by certificates and reports attesting to the date and data results obtained from performance oriented packaging testing. DSCR may not have an approved Bidset for this NSN. The only approved sources for this item are Airtronics, Inc. (Cage 58078) and BAE Systems Information (Cage 80249). Any manufacturer, other than Airtronics or BAE wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
