- Description
- The attached is the justification and approval document for the contract with Alion Science and Technology Corporation for Force on Force Evaluation and Analysis of Key Performance Parameters. This is for the contract work entitled 'Force on Force Estimation and Analysis of KPPs (FREAK). The intent of this effort is to provide continuity (a 'bridge') for performance between the existing work under the Modeling and Simulation Information Analysis Center technical area task (ending 31 Mar 2013) and follow-on work under the DTRA Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract, which has not yet been awarded. This effort focuses on software code development, Federated Architecture integration, and event scenario planning and execution in support of the Research and Development Directorate's (J9) comprehensive Real-Time Reachback exercise. This event will assess J9's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) detector technology performance, Radio Frequency (RF) network communications capabilities, common operating picture visualization, and simulated / calibration source spectrum analytics.
