- Modification is issued to clarify the following quesitons: Item descriptions is clarified to read Standard ISO 20' Container. 8 x 8'6 x 20 Double Swing doors on one end. Used trailer (1 use only). Painted tan. No turbines vents needed. We do not have equipment to off load these trailers. Must be done by the shipping company. 14 gauge steel, Wind and water tight. Must have high security lock box. Wood floor. Quantity 12 each. Delivery address: Detroit Light Guard Armory, 4400 E Eight Mile Rd., Detroit, MI 48234 Bid Date changed to 4-26-13 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 0010319299, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-58, 18 May 2012. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). Contract financing will NOT be provided for this acquisition. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. Quotations are being solicited and a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type Purchase Order(s) is anticipated.
