- Exhibits Submittals Female and Minority Goals Davis Bacon Wage Rates Solicitation Body Cover Page This requirement is a total Small Business Set Aside. Anyone may view the solicitation package, but only a Small Business is eligible to submit a quote. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct individual water wells, individual water systems and other required appurtenances in accordance with the attached drawings and specifications. Work is to be performed at or near Indian residences located in Madera and Mariposa County, California. Three water well systems and 3 individual water systems will be installed for this contract. The individual water wells will consist of a drilled and cased well with sanitary seal. The individual water systems will consist of a submersible well pump, drop pipe, water service line to the house, a pressure tank as appropriate, electrical connections and well controls. An organized site visit has been scheduled for: Thursday May 9, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. (Chenot Site) Thursday May 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. (Thome Site) Thursday May 9, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. (McDaniels Site) Participants will meet at: Kimberly Chenot Site 4930 Watt Road Mariposa, CA 95338 Ken Thome Site 41090 Rd. 600 Ahwahnee, CA 93601 Garrett McDaniels Site 34833 Hwy. 41 Coarsegold, CA 93614 Contractor must possess a valid California State Water Well Drilling, Class C 57 license. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation package will be available for download on April 22 by an amendment to this notice. If you are an interested contractor, please add your name and email address in the interested vendors. This will ensure that you will receive an email from FedBizOpps if amendments are made to the solicitation. This acquisition is governed by FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a sealed bid and there will be no official "bid opening." Information concerning the low quote, other quotes, and the apparent low quote, will not be made public until after an award is made to the successful contractor. The Request for Quote (RFQ) package has been added to this notice.
