- Description
- The Colville National Forest has a requirement to construct approxiamately 5.21 miles of trail on the Gibraltar Trail. on the Republic Ranger District. The project is located approximately 10 miles SE of Republic, Washington accessible Forest Service road 2053000 from Highway 20. The work is located in Ferry County, Washington State. The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of approximately 4.27 miles of new trail construction as a base item and 0.94 miles of new trail construction as an option item. Work is limited to clearing and tread construction only. The project timeframe is estimated to be 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The project is estimated to begin in July, 2013. The Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide a payment bond. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotes. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 15, 2013. The actual due date for quotes will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 237990 size standard is $33.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
