- The Pacific Regional Contracting Office (PRCO) Korea at Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH)/121st Combat Support Hospital intends to award a firm-fixed price, personal service contract for the Adult Psychologist services at Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH)/121st Combat Support Hospital, Korea. This requirement is for a period of performance from 15 June 2013 through 14 June 2018 (Base & 4 Option Periods). Required qualification of the Adult Psychologist includes but is not limited to: (1) Education: Contractor shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship. (2) Licensure/Certification/Registration: Contractor shall have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. (3) Experience: A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical psychology, preferably in a Government setting such as a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF and providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services. (4) Basic Life Support Training: All contractors must possess and maintain current course completion documentation for basic life support (BLS) through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross approved training program. (5) Continuing Education: Must maintain Continuing Education credit sufficient to maintain both their clinical license and to meet MTF specific Quality Assurance standards for credentialing as a Psychologist. (6) Knowledge and experience with military health system, combat/deployment issues, people suffering from medically unexplained symptoms, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and /or disasters are required. (7) Contract Psychologists shall have proficiency in administration and interpretation of basic psychological test measures to include Intelligence Testing, Personality Testing with Objective and Projective Testing, and basic neuropsychological screening techniques, such as Mental Status exams and Dementia Rating Scales. The proposed acquisition will be unrestricted. This solicitation package will be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/)on or about 22 April 2013. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
