- April 8, 2013 Advertisement for Parking for the Atlanta VA Regional Office Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Competition for Lease Location The Atlanta VA Regional Office is seeking 99 parking spaces located in the Decatur, GA area for the Atlanta VA Regional Office located at 1700 Clairmont Road 30033. The VA is conducting a competition for space and will locate the parking spaces in the most advantageous location for the Government. Lease options and other factors will be considered when determining whether the space identified by offerors is appropriate. The parking must accommodate 99 parking spaces with gravel parking surface and appropriate lighting. A lease term of five (5) years, one (1) year firm will be considered. Occupancy is required by October 1, 2013. To be considered, the property/space must be within a 3.5 map miles radius of the Atlanta VA Regional Office (1700 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). Offers must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100 year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, ad Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value of space. Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement.
