- Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, on behalf of NAVSUP Headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for the procurement of educational training services (commercial) in support of the NAVSUP Acquisition Workforce (AWRF) in the Logistics Career Field. The place of performance is: Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg 5450 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 The period of performance is one week in July or August 2013. The Government intends to solicit only one source, Trio Consulting, LLC -- the only known source and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Certified Equivalent Provider that can offer the Intermediate Acquisition Logistics, Part B (LOG 201B) training course. This procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their capability to provide the required services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, all capability information received by the designated date and time will be considered by the Government. Information shall be received at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia no later than 12:00 PM (Eastern Time) on 16 April 2013. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. The NAICS code is 611430. All responses shall be emailed to ian.horwitz@navy.mil.
