- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the manufacture of hardware components for ORDALT Kits. The Nomenclature, Part Number, Quantity, and applicable notes are attached (Note: 2 parts are SUBSAFE). The successful offeror shall manufacture the hardware components in accordance with specifications called out in the supplied drawings. Please note that the drawings and specifications associated with this procurement will only be available by requesting a compact disc from the negotiator. Only those vendors who have an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration will be provided the compact disc. Please visit http://www/dlis.dla.mil/jcp/ for further details on the program and registration. To request a compact disc, please send an e-mail request for the Drawings to Neil Santos at neil.santos@navy.mil citing RFQ N66604-13-Q-1654, include company name and address, JCP number, Cage Code, telephone number, point of contact, as well as a FEDEX Account ID number, if no FED EX number is provided the drawings will be sent via U.S. Mail. Drawings will be sent on a CD once JCP registration is confirmed.. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Solicitation is Set Aside 100% for Small Business. The NAICS is 335999, size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a single FFP purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value, considering price and technical factors. The specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. Required delivery is 8 weeks, ADO, F.O.B. Destination - Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI.
