- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Financial Management Office (FMO) intends to award a non-competitive modification to current Multiple Award Schedule task order GS-10F-0466N, 200-2012-F-53777 to PricewaterhouseCooopers LLP, 1800 Tyson Blvd, McLean, Virginia 22102. This requirement will be awarded to PricewaterhouseCoopers based upon the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 8.405(a)(1)(i)(C). The additional work is a logical follow-on to the base delivery order. The CDC must acquire cost accounting capabilities to establish and implement a Working Capital Fund (WCF). The WCF is CDC leadership's answer to improve the overall resource management of business service offices and leadership and management funded activities through more effective and efficient operating methods. The authorizing legislation to plan to implement a Working Capital Fund was provided by Congress in FY 12 in the appropriations bill. The overall objective of this procurement is to continue to build FMO's capacity to fully implement a WCF. This includes assisting with fund design and infrastructure; supporting infrastructure and efficiency improvements within up to 14 business support offices (BSOs); developing appropriate IT infrastructure to support WCF; supporting necessary WCF operational activities; and providing communications support. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested, responsible firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 pm est, April 26th, 2013 via email vgx3@cdc.gov.
