Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside at Grand Junction Veteran Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501. This is a pre-solicitation notice to provide all labor, equipment and materials as required in drawings and specifications for construction services and materials to replace and upgrade refrigeration equipment and systems located in the chiller plant section of the Utilities Building, No. 9. The intent of the contract drawings and specifications is to remove and replace equipment and systems that impinge the efficiency of the chilled water system. All work will be coordinated through Engineering Services. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The project number for this acquisition is 575-12-103. NAICS Code is 236220 is applicable to this acquisition with the business size standard is $33.5M. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on or about April 26, 2013 at FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Information regarding the organized site visit and pre-proposal conference will be listed in the solicitation documents. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend the organized site visit to familiarize themselves with the project, project site and conditions which may affect your cost proposal. Only one site visit will be conducted. Upon review of solicitation documents, prospective offerors are encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing, in regards to the solicitation prior to the scheduled visit. There will be a due date listed for questions in the solicitation. Solicitation number VA259-13-R-0534 has been assigned and shall be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement and solicitation. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR Part 4.11, prospective contractors are required to have an active registration in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) now SAM and FAR Part 4.12, prospective contractors must complete electronic on line annual representations and certifications (ORCA) databases now SAM prior to award of a contract.
