- Description
- The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of GHLN 07-1054 "Repair Crow Creek Sanitary Sewer Lift Station and Sewer Main". The government anticipates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237110, with a size standard of $33.5 million. This project consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all parts, materials, supplies, equipment, labor, and transportation necessary to demolish a portion of a facility containing an existing sanitary sewer lift station and construct a new sanitary sewer lift station and associated sanitary sewer pipe, mainholes, and forced main at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Work includes: Construction of a new lift station building and wet well, with associated pumps and controls, re-routing sanitary sewer piping to new lift station building, bypass pumping as needed to maintain function of existing lift station until new lift station is operational, construction of a new force main, including boring under railroad tracks, and demolition of the existing lift station building. Additional requirements may include: Excavation, fill and compaction, construction of new facility, demolition, and grading and seeding. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This magnitude does not necessarily reflect the proximity of the actual estimated cost. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is lowest price technically acceptable. The government anticipates the issuance of the RFP on 26 April, 2013 with target award date of 1 June, 2013. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.sam.gov. Contractors must also submit their Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at https://sam.gov. The RFP will be released using the Electronic Posting System (EPS) available at http://www.fbo.gov. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
