Description
This is NOT a request for proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ann Arbor Health Care System, is seeking potential firms that have the capability to provide ambulance services for the Ann Arbor VA Medical center. The estimated award date of the contract is July 1, 2013. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621910, which has a size standard of $7 Million in average annual receipts. Prospective firms shall be regularly established in the business called for, shall be financially responsible, and have the necessary equipment, licensure, and personnel to furnish the required services. Service shall include Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Services will be required on a 24 hour per day, seven day per week basis. Vehicles shall be staffed by Paramedics, ACLS trained Registered Nurses, or Certified Emergency Medical Technicians. All vehicles shall be licensed and meet the vehicle requirements mandated by Federal Specifications KKK-A-1822F, dated August 1, 2007. The contractor must be licensed to begin and end runs entirely within the boundaries of Washtenaw County. All qualified firms, regardless of business size, that are interested in responding are invited to submit their information via email only to Gregory Stevens, Contracting Officer at gregory.stevens@va.gov Notification must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than Thursday, April 19, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Contractors shall provide complete business information including: Company name, phone number, point of contact name, address, and socioeconomic status. Please reference "Sources Sought: VA Ambulance" in the subject line. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered as a result of this Sources Sought notice. This is not a request for proposals. The formal solicitation will be issued at a later date by a separate announcement.
