- This announcement was previously announced as W912DR-13-R-0047. It is corrected as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The Class Code is Corrected as Z-Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Real Property. The estimated Cubic Yards is corrected as quote mark 850,000 cubic yards of sand for beach re-nourishment quote mark. This project consists of offshore ocean-going, hopper or hydraulic, deep depth dredging of approximately 850,000 cubic yards of sand for beach re-nourishment of the Ocean City shoreline in response to damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and for periodic shoreline maintenance. Sand is to be pumped from an offshore borrow area for replacement of the existing beach and dune system. The source of sand is located approximately 2-3 miles offshore of Ocean City, MD. This contract will also include the construction or repair of dune, providing and planting of dune grass, and providing and installing rope fencing. Additionally, the project requires a large amount of beach-fill in a relatively short window of time. Contract duration will be approximately two hundred ten (210) calendar days and estimated cost range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required for 100% of contract award. NAICS for this project is 237990. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. PLEASE NOTE: In this instance, FedBizOpps uses the date entered as a response date for archive purposes.
