- The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price, Sole Source under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions to Stryker Corporation for Patient Cots maintenance services, in support of Commander Navy Region Mid-West, Great Lakes Fire Department, Great Lake, IL. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811219. The size standard is $19.0M. The anticipated start date is 15 JUN 13 through 14 JUN 14, with the option to extend services for four (4) - one year option periods, including the option to extend services in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
