- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to National Instruments. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the listed National Instruments supplies: various equipment to support full scale acoustic trials (composed of: NI PXI-1044 14-Slot 3U chassis with universal power supply; Power Cord, AC, U.S., 120 VAC, 2.3 meters; NI 14/18-Slot Chassis Front Rack Mount Kit; National Instruments Standard System Assurance Program for PXI; NI PXI-8119 Core i7-3610QE 2.3 GHz Controller, Win 7 (64 bit); Replacement/Upgrade 4 GB of DDR3 RAM for PXI(e)-8115 Controller; NI PXI-5422, 200 MS/s Arbitrary Waveform Generator W/LVDS output, 16-bit 32 MB (4x longer playback vs 8 MB) which includes NI Analog Waveform editor; NI PXI-4462 “ 24-Bit Sigma-Delta ADC ™s, 204.8 kS/s Max Samp Rate 4 input Simultaneous, Anti-Alasing Filters, IEPE, 118 dB Dynamic Range; SMB112, Double Shielded SMB to BNC Male Coax Cable, 50 Ohm, 1m; NI Developer Suite, 2012 DS2 Edition, English - renewal/upgrade to license S/N Z61M3335 “ includes media; and NI SOUND AND VIBRATION TOOLKIT “ renewal/upgrade to license S/N J15X12355 “ includes media.). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all RFQs received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
