- Synopsis: The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a requirement to procure services that require a range of research skills, which could be called into use to develop/design, maintain and support a Web-based survey to be administered to individuals operating DWI Courts and Hybrid DWI and Drug Courts. The tasks performed under this contract will provide the support needed by NHTSA to: o Advanced project management plan; o Assure System & Software Requirement; o Design the overall system design; o Deploy and Monitor the new Survey Website and o Evaluate system requirements and regulatory options. Background: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). NHTSA's mission is to save lives, prevent injuries and reduce traffic-related health care and other economic costs. The agency develops, promotes and implements effective educational, engineering and enforcement programs with the goal of ending preventable tragedies and reducing economic costs associated with motor vehicle use and highway travel. Purpose: NHTSA's objective is to receive professional services in support of consultant, development, maintenance and support services for a Web-based survey to be administered to individuals operating DWI Courts and Hybrid DWI/Drug Courts. Solicitation Information: The Government contemplates that a Firm Fixed Price type Contract with a period of performance of 38 weeks (266 days) will be awarded. The forthcoming solicitation and any related documents to this procurement will only be available electronically for download at https://www.fedbizopps.gov referenced by the solicitation number (DTNH22- 13-R-00703 ). The anticipated issuance date of the forthcoming solicitation is on or about April 25, 2013. However, it is the Offeror's sole responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will also be solely responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any), as well as other related documents. NO FURTHER PROCUREMENT INFORMATION IS AVALABLE AT THIS TIME.
