Description
Solicitation Amendment One Solicitation Amendment One 04/11/2013 The government inadvertently left off the issuing and response deadlines in the original solicitation. The amendment has corrected this issue and the attached amendment provides the information. Note: Please ensure you print and sign acknowledgement of the amendment when responding to the solicitation. Solicitation Released 04/11/2013 Note: Please see attached Request for Quotation along with all associated documents. Synopsis Amended 03/26/2013 Note: 3/26/2013 to include (TDP)Technical Data Package. Please see TDP for all drawings, specifications, and engineering data needed to manufacture the B-2 Cover Access Panel. This is an export controlled item and the interested party will need to verify their DD 2345 before viewing TDP. Synopsis 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date 6 April 2013 Closes 6 May 2013 2. RFP# - FA8119-13-Q-0022 3. PR# - FD2030-13-00565 4. Nomenclature/Noun - B-2 Access Cover 5. NSN - 5340-01-349-1899 FW 6. PN - DAA3295A354-007 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - B-2 8. AMC - 2G 9. Description: Aluminum cover used to cover an access point. The item is 18"x16"x3" and is 2.2 lbs. This acquisition will be a total 100% small business set-aside. L/I 0001 - 1 EA, First Article L/I 0002 -1 EA, New Manufacture Required Delivery - on/before 31 Dec 2013 This will be a FFP effort. 10. Mandatory Language: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at 405-736-3273. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. 11. Export Control: This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. US contractors must submit a copy of their current, approved DD Form 2345 with their request for solicitation. The form, including instructions for completing the form, is available at http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/infomgt/forms/forminfo/forminfopage2220.html. The solicitation/data package will be available for download at www.fbo.gov upon verification of the DD Form 2345. The extent of foreign participation has not yet been determined. MOU country sources must contact the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days of the date of this synopsis notice to receive a copy of the solicitation at the time it is initially issued. Issuance of the RFP will not be delayed to review requests from MOU country sources received after 15 days or from non-MOU country sources. Nothing in this notice contradicts other restrictions, identified in the synopsis notice or solicitation, regarding eligible sources (e.g., if this is a small-business set-aside, foreign sources may not participate as potential prime contractors but could, if otherwise eligible, participate as subcontractors). 12.
