- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation and is NOT set-aside for small business. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. The evaluation process to be used is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. This is an Open Market requirement. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price Purchase Order as result of this solicitation. If an offeror submits a quotation based upon an FSS or GWAC contract, the Government will accept the quoted price. However, the terms and conditions stated herein take precedence in any resultant Purchase Order, not the terms and conditions of the offeror's FSS or GWAC Contract. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333314, with a small business size standard of 500. FUNDS ARE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. This requirement is being solicited as Subject to the availability of funds. The Government has a reasonable expectation funds will become available, but is not liable and will not reimburse the offeror for any costs incurred in responding to this solicitation. ALL PROPOSALS MUST BE VALID FOR 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS SOLICITATION RESPONSE DATE. Any offer not valid for 90 days from date this solicitation closes shall be deemed Non-Responsive and no longer considered for this action. The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, North is seeking to purchase one Carl Zeiss OPMI Proergo Dental Microscope with the components described herein. All interested companies are invited to provide an offer/quotation. The Place of Performance identified below, under the Contracting Office Address is not where the products of this solicitation are to be delivered.
