- Amendment 000001 The purpose of this amendment is to change the second paragraph in Chapter B, Section A.1. ______________________________________________ THIS IS THE FINAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to award one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from this solicitation for commercial items under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be available for use by all DHS components and is mandatory with exceptions. Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) orders will be issued against this vehicle. This is an unrestricted procurement using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541519; the business size standard is $25.5 Million. In pursuit of achieving the Secretary's efficiency initiative of 2009 and the Office of the Chief Information Officer's (OCIO) High Priority Initiative (HPI), the OCIO, the Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), and the Strategic Sourcing Program Office (SSPO) are seeking to establish a Department-wide single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) for the purchase of Cisco maintenance (SMARTnet) for hardware, software and training support. The following are important dates associated with this RFP: 1) The cutoff date for questions related to this RFP is Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. 2) Past performance shall be delivered via email directly from the Offeror's references to the DHS Contracting Officer at ciscoidiq13@hq.dhs.gov not later than Monday, May 13, 2013. 3) Electronic proposals are due Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
