- Description
- The US Government Printing Office (GPO) intends to award RFQ #GPO-25982BM as a firm-fixed price contract to Chesapeake Netcraftsmen, for the purchase (and installation) of Brand Name Cisco Products, on a sole source basis. During 2007, Chesapeake Netcraftsmen designed the GPO's DMZ infrastructure for the internet network system using Cisco Products. The overall objective is to maximize the maintenance and effectiveness of the DMZ redesign services by using the original designer of the network system to procure and install original Cisco products as a follow-on to a standing 2013 maintenance contract between the US GPO and Chesapeake Netcraftsmen. Chesapeake Netcraftsmen is located at 1290 Bay Dale Drive. Suite 312, Arnold, MD 21012. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposal or quotation. No contract award will be made on the basis of any Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with MMAR 13.5 "Synopsis and posting requirements" as an Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by MMAR 6.302-1(a)(ii).
