Background Information for the Event: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is soliciting supplier participation in its Second Supplier Relationship Management Quarterly Webinar of 2013. The SRM initiative is part of VA's broader effort to improve the end-to-end acquisition process which capitalizes on industry expertise as an effort to strengthen the VA acquisition process as a whole. During the Webinar, VA acquisition leadership will update supplier participants on the Department's progress towards meeting its strategic goals, and will address subjects such as acquisition approaches, procurement policy, the VA supply chain, and Veterans and Small Business Programs. II.
