- Statement of Work Sole Source Justification Letter The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL, has entered into a sole source, firm-fixed priced, blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to ALABAMA CONTROLS, INC, located in Pelham, AL, in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source, "For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization). The contractor shall provide parts and service to maintain Common Access Card and Closed Circuit Camera Secuity Systems at the Officer Training School, Maxwell AFB, AL, for a period of 60 months, from 5 April 2013 to 4 April 2018 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. If any interested parties can fulfill this requirement, please provide a statement of interest to this office NLT 12:00, noon, CDT on 4 April 2013 to be considered for an additional BPA.
