- TUSCARORA 2013 WEED TREATMENT - BLM ELKO DISTRICT, ELKO, NV Ground based herbicide spraying in the 2011 Indian Creek Fire Area. The selected contractor will be required to treat all noxious weeds within the approximate 609.7 acre base contract area. There are up to 6 additional option areas that may be included in this contract, depending on the availability of funds, for up to an approximate 1514.8 additional acres. ALL, SOME, OR NONE OF THESE OPTION AREAS MAY OR MAY NOT BE AWARDED. The primary weed species known to exist within the contract area is Scotch thistle. Other noxious weeds known to exist within the fire area include (but are not limited to): Whitetop and Russian Knapweed. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, chemicals, tools, materials, supervision, supplies, and incidentals; and perform all work necessary to complete application in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and the Herbicide Label(s). The Contractor shall hold a current Nevada Professional Applicator License in the Agricultural Pesticide Category and an AQUATIC ENDORSEMENT. A copy of the license must be submitted with the quote to be considered for award of the project area.
