- F-16 OGDEN DATA DEVICE-ETHERNET CRYPTO SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: FA8232-13-R-3024 This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. This action is being conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for the following build to print, non-developmental item: The Ogden Data Device-Ethernet Crypto requirement is for an organic replacement for the GE Aviation produced Micro Cartridge Interface Device (Micro-CID). The final product will include a hardware component, firmware component (imbedded software), plus drivers, services, and software as necessary on the host computer and will be referred to in this document as the Ogden Data Device - Ethernet Crypto or ODD-EC. Manufacture and deliver the Ogden Data Device-Ethernet Crypto (ODD-EC) pre-production and production hardware units per the Technical Drawing Package and the 309th developed software drivers, firmware, and documentation. The hardware units will require First Article Testing and production testing. The Government will provide and own the Technical Drawing Package and any future updates. Interested parties are invited to submit a response, not to exceed 10 one sided pages, to this sources sought in the form of a Statement of Capabilities (SOC) to the Government for information to prepare the solicitation. The SOC needs to include demonstrated experience of the requirements above. Information submitted must be pertinent, specific, and cover the following areas: 1. Company Name and Cage Code 2. Is company foreign owned? 3. Email address and phone number of POC 4. Suggested NAICS 5. Business Size Classification for 336413 NAICS and qualification, and if any, as a sub-category (i.e., 8a, HUBZONE, SDVOSB) 6. Would you be a prime or a subcontractor 7. Production lead time for task performance (i.e., How long to produce first article? How many can you produce per month? How long would it take to produce and deliver the first lot?) 8. Experience: Provide an outline of previous projects and/or specific work experience in relation to the above mentioned criteria. Include a brief description of demonstrated experience and familiarity of the Data Transfer devices. 9. Personnel: Provide evidence of functional expertise in program management, manufacturing, engineering, contract administration, configuration management, and logistics at a minimum. Please provide assurance that each function can be performed. 10. For planning purposes, provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM). This is the first time the items have been manufactured and therefore, the customers (F-16, F-22, B-52) are needing a ROM for the pre-production item and production hardware units.
