Description

Draft DFAC Solicitation Draft DFAC PWS Synopsis: This synopsis for Hill AFB Dining Facilities (DFAC) commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 5.207(a) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is a continuation of the original Sources Sought Notice FA8201-13-R-DFAC, and constitutes the synopsis only and shall not be considered a solicitation. No proposals shall be submitted in response to this synopsis. This requirement is planned to be advertised as follows: full and open competition, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract type, and a North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code of 722310 - Food Service Contractors with a Size Standard of $35.5M. This requirement is planned to include but is not limited to dining facility management, cooking, food preparation, serving and replenishing food, cleaning facilities, equipment and utensils, preparing vegetables and fruits for the salad bar, bussing tables in dining area, performing cashier services, handling foods, supplies, equipment, maintaining quality control, ensuring operator maintenance and minor/major repair of food service equipment. There are three (3) possible dining locations tenant to Hill AFB expected as part of this requirement: Hillcrest, Fast Eddie's and Oasis Dining Facility. Subsequent postings/amendments to this synopsis or the future solicitation may include the removal of some of these locations from the requirement due to closure. ***Dining Facilities at Hill AFB in Utah falls under the Randolph-Sheppard Act (R-SA), which provides for a preference to the State Licensing Agency (SLA). See attached solicitation, DRAFT_DFAC_SOL for more details on planned quantities, options, unit of issue, duration of the contract period, and contract clauses. See attached DRAFT_DFAC_PWS for further details on the planned scope and description of DFAC services for Hill AFB.
