- Description
- The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) located in Bridgeport, CA is seeking information from industry in order to identify small businesses and/or domestic manufacturers of ski boot liners similar to the Intuition Universal liner. The following characteristics are essential to the liner: 1)thermo-moldable foam with thickness of 3/8 in., 2) the liner must be at least one inch higher than the shell cuff and tongue when inserted into the shell, 3) the liner must be compatible with Garmont Excursion telemark ski boot (the boot currently in use by MCMWTC personnel). If you are a domestic firm and a manufacturer of such an item, please send your company's profile, including business size status (NAICS code 316210, size standard: 1,000 employees), to the MCMWTC Contracting Officer, Staff Sergeant Pena, at ariel.pena@usmc.mil. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Request for Quote (RFQ); all businesses are invited to respond to this RFI. Any information received is considered Market Research and may be utilized by the Government to assess the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to issuing an RFQ. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as part of this RFI. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not result in a a contract and will not obligate the Government in any way.
