- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation Federal Acquisition Circular F1C0SS3071A001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 332439 and the small business size standard is 500 EMP. The following commercial items are requested: 1 EACH CONTAINERIZED HOUSING UNIT (CHU) to be used as office space. No special configuration required (open bay) should come equipped with electrical outlets 110V/115W. No min requirements for air conditioners. PURCHASE AND INSTALL CONTAINERIZED HOUSING UNIT (CHU) Item Nomenclature Description Qty 0001 8’ X 45’ Steel Office Container. Must meet Seismic Design Category D criteria and a wind velocity of 170 MPH to include: Air Conditioning- One on each end At least two walk-in doors At least one window (no special size requested) Wired for electricity (min 6 outlets) Footing and Typhoon Tie-Downs Color: Tan Basic Steps 1 EA 0002 Installation and mobilization NO LATER THAN 45 DAYS ARO 1 EA SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) QUOTATION to include all the items and service requirements outlined in above CLINs 0001 and 000 2 and 2) PROPOSED DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION SCHEDULE/TIMELINE to address all requirements listed in above CLIN 0001 with Delivery and installation no later than 45 Days ARO ; and Place of contract delivery and performance is: Ritidian Point Andersen Air Force Base Guam, 96929 Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Technical acceptability is met when the offeror succesfully addresses and fulfills the submittal requirements listed herein. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable quotation. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
