- Description
- The project is located in Otoe County near the Nebraska Station OPPD and Nebraska City, NE. The repairs of the Missouri River Levee Unit R573 will consist of repairing the riverside and landside levee side slopes for 6,000 feet, adding a 6-9 inch thickness of coarse aggregate to cover the toe drain for 7,500 feet, some regrading of side slope in other areas, minor slope protection, potential crest repairs and seeding and mulching of all repair areas. The borrow area shall be impervious clay fill located on government furnished lands riverward of the levee system. The estimated construction cost of this project is between$500,000 and $750,000.
