- ***** The Pre-Proposal Conference has been postponed until Tuesday, 19 February 2013 at 1000 AM CET at the Regional Contracting Office- Italy. The address is: Via Pra Spineo, 16, Lerino, Torri di Quartesolo, IT 36040. Please send a notification email to kelly.m.geyer.civ@mail.mil no later than 1300 on Monday, 18 February 2013 stating your intent to participate. All questions concerning the solicitation need to be submitted to the above email address by 1300 CET on Monday, 18 February 2013 in order to to be answered at the conference. All answers to the questions will be presented at the pre-proposal conference and posted to FedBizOpps.gov following the pre-proposal conference. ***** 1. The purpose of this solicitation and any resulting contract award is to procure taxi and interpreter services for the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Vicenza, Italy Housing Office. These services include: 1.) transportation to and from available rental quarters; 2.) transportation to and from local utility companies; and 3.) interpretation and translation for housing customers. Please reference the Performance Work Statement provided in the solicitation for a detailed description of the services to be provided. 2. Response Due Date: All responses are due back to the Regional Contracting Office- Italy no later than 1300 on 8 March 2013. Ensure all responses are submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. 3. Pre-Proposal Conference: A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, 14 February 2013 at 1000 AM CET at the Regional Contracting Office- Italy. All prospective offerors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference for the purpose of discussing solicitation requirements and asking questions regarding this solicitation. Please send a notification email to kelly.m.geyer.civ@mail.mil no later than 1700 on Tuesday, 12 February 2013 stating your intent to participate. All questions concerning the solicitation need to be submitted to the above email address by 1700 on Tuesday, 12 February 2013. Answers to the questions will be presented at the pre-proposal conference and posted to FedBizOpps.gov following the pre-proposal conference. 4. Type of Contract: The Government contemplates awarding a single, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery requirements contract. 5. Anticipated Award Date: 15 April 2013 6. Period of Performance: Five (5) years, consisting of one (1) base year with four (4) option years. 7. Funding: Funding is available for the base year of performance. 8.
