- This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PZIA is seeking potential sources to provide One Spectrometer meeting the following criteria: 1.) Fiber adapter permits to adapt typical FC/PC terminated fibers 2.) ≥1.25m Focal Length with better than f/9.4 3.) Manually activated shutter at entrance slit 4.) >= 1200g/mm Blazed at 750nm with a wavelength range of 350-860nm 5.) High resolution stepping drive system 6.) Variable port selection, side or front exit 7.) Continuously variable bilaterally adjustable entrance slits 8.) 2 degree adapter for mount array detectors 9.) C-mount adapter 10.) Mercury calibration lamp Firms responding to this announcement shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and should include company name, DUNS number, cage code, point of contact, address and business size using NAICS Code 334516, Size Standard 500 employees. Respondents shall include Statement of Capabilities (SOC), limited to 2 pages, and may include demonstration of experience in supplying or manufacturing spectrometers meeting the specifications listed.
