Description

The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis from University of Mary Washington 1301 College Ave, Fredericksburg VA 22401-5300 to acquire training, meeting and event facility to host short courses, Defense Acquisition University courses, leadership training, NSWCDD events, and working meetings. The period of performance is estimated to be nine months. Services shall be in the form of classrooms, computer lab, auditorium and transit office spaces and an information technology system that can support instructor-led classroom learning and web-based training as outlined in the Statement of Work per attachment (1). Only the services identified in attachment (1) will be accepted; deviations will not be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 611310 with size standard of $7.0. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-13-Q-4172 and is a Request for Quote. Please reference synopsis number N00178-13-Q-4172 in your quote. Quotes should be submitted by 12:00 noon on 21 February 2013 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. If applicable the quote should include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
