- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) for the Co-Sponsorship to develop and present the 2013 International Conference on Ecology and Transportation (ICOET). CTE will address a broad range of ecological issues related to surface transportation systems and development, construction and operations. Additionally, CTE shall ensure that from this conference, all participants will gain a greater understanding of current issues related to ecosystems and transportation infrastructures. CTE has the history, resources, as well as conducting the ecological research transportation studies annually with on-going experimentation for this critical research. Because CTE develops and conducts their conference as well as provide all of the logistical arrangements, transportation liaisons, workshop facilitators, in addition to providing final proceedings through their website, CTE is considered the only source for their services. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is February 28, 2013.
