- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award a Purchase Order to SNL Financial LLC on a sole source basis, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 6.302-1, for SNL Financial Institutions Unlimited Package. SNL Financial LLC is the only provider of the above SNL Financial Institutions Unlimited Package. The SNL Financial Institutions Unlimited Package includes the following: * Specific Coverage - Banking Drafts, Thrifts, Credit Unions, De Novos, Banks in Organization, breaking news, financial data and expert analysis on business sectors critical to the global economy extending to European Banks and also includes Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, Financial Services, and Energy and Media and Communications industry data * Financial Services - Asset Managers, Brokers/Dealers, Investment Companies, Finance REITs, Specialty lenders, Financial Technology * In-depth data in real time for the banking industry * Peer analysis tools that allow comparisons between financial institutions over a wide range of metrics including asset quality, earnings growth, and loan and deposit mix. * Comprehensive coverage of failed banks and thrifts, including news coverage, bidding analysis, and metrics for government-assisted deals * Different industries report different financial items in different ways SNL recognizes these differences and standardizes financial data using each industries' own financial fields and language. Company profiles highlight sectors-specific performance metrics while standardized financial statements make comparisons across multiple companies easy. SNL also allows you to view and export financial numbers as reported by each company. These " as-reported" financial statements are aligned over time for seamless comparison across periods, and with one click, each value can be traced back to its source document for easy auditing. * All via one seamless, IP authenticated portal available via the Agency intranet Solicitation documents are not available and telephone, fax or email requests will not be honored. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any response preparation costs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider responses received by February 20, 2012 by 2:00pm ET. Responses shall be submitted to Karen Green@OCC.Treas.Gov A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
