- Bread and Bakery Products for the Department of Veterans Affairs Provide the required Bread and Bakery Products for the period of April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014 with four (4), 12-month option years, for the following VA Medical Centers: VA Medical Centers: Minneapolis MN, St Cloud MN, Fargo ND, Sioux Falls SD and Black Hills Health Care System with facilities located at Fort Meade and Hot Springs SD. Each medical center has two (2) locations requiring bread and bakery products; Nutrition and Food Service (Hospital) and Canteen Services. Multiple Awards may be made under this contract; however, Bid Groups will be awarded in the aggregate. This solicitation is being issued as Full and Open (Unrestricted). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NCAICS) is 311812, Commercial Bakeries, with the standard size of 500 employees. Solicitation will be posted on or about February 28, 2013 and due on March 13, 2013. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM CST on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
