Description
NAICS Code: 541512 -Computer Systems Design Services THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable NAICS code is 541512 and the size standard is 25.5M. This is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers. No solicitation package will be available. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a sole source one time, firm fixed price purchase order to Savi Technology Incorporation. This is a requirement for Savi Smart Chain Workstation 6.0 software renewal licenses at Fort Lee Va. 23801. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, supervision, etc., necessary to perform services. Savi Technology Inc is the sole proprietor of Savi Site Manager and Smart Chain Workstation software. Description - Savi Technology Inc. will process Customer Assistance calls, furnish all upgrades, and/or replacement software such as security patches that is necessary to maintain the operation status of 600 software licenses for Savi Smart Chain Workstation 6.0. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR 13.5 and soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition test threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received by the appointed due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This Solicitation does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. Responses to this notice must be received only via email on 27 Feb 2013, no later than 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. All questions must be submitted by email no later than 2:00pm, 22 Feb 2013. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
