- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure the following part: Quantity 2, Part 1GVLAN-1 (Multi Mode) TACLANE-1G Cyber Ready Encryptor (KG-175GM)-Fully Tactical 2 Gb/s (aggregate) INE with simultaneous HAIPE ® v4.1 and IPMEIR agility. Includes VLAN and DPI features when available on a sole source basis from General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc., 77 A Street Needham, MA 02494. Only the part identified will be accepted; deviations will not be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334290 with size standard of 750. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-13-Q-4190 and is a Request for Quote. Please reference synopsis number N00178-13-Q-4190 in your quote. Quotes should be submitted by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6146 Tisdale Road, Suite 235, Bldg 492, Dahlgren Virginia 22448-5158. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase.
