- Description
- AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION NOTICE: The following questions were received by the closing date in response to the notice. Responses are included in italic font immediately following each question. The closing date and time for the notice remains as originally described in Section VI of the notice. QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES: 1. Does OPM intend for the contractor to utilize OPM's GoLearn platform to deliver the on-line training? No, we would expect to use the vendor's site. 2. Has the curriculum for the modules OPM specifies been delivered or does OPM need the contractor to develop them? No, we would expect the content to be already developed by the vendor. 3. Does FIS have a single training coordination office to interface with the contractor's program management office? The contractor will deal solely with the designated program manager at FIS' National Training Center office, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. 4. The deliverables mention "unlimited access" to online training and classroom courses. Can you provide more clarity around unlimited? In the case of online training does unlimited mean continuous access to retake a course after it has been taken (1 student unlimited times) or does it mean no cap on students (unlimited students 1 course)? For classroom training does unlimited mean no cap on students but limitations on when the course will be offered? By "unlimited access", we mean that access to the contractor's course offerings, whether live seminar or web-based, is limited by the potential student population already identified. An individual student's access to a single course would be controlled and monitored by the FIS training office: one student's course registration for a single course attendance. For classroom training, the FIS training office would work with the contractor concerning scheduling a course event for a particular number of FIS students or for a FIS student to attend one classroom event at a specific place and time. 5. The RFI states submissions are to be made in Microsoft Word. Will you accept submissions in pdf (to reduce file size)? Also is there a maximum file size for electronic submission? The requested format is designed to facilitate OPM's ability to work with the material after submission. In our experience, files up to 5MB can be received. If a vendor's complete package needed to be sent in multiple increments to comply with the file size limit, we would work with the vendor to accept multiple increments in order to receive the complete submission package.
