- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT FORM THE BASIS OF ANY CONTRACT WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT. The Regional Contracting Center-East (RCC-East) is conducting market research for a POTENTIAL requirement for the removal of solid waste from Bagram Air Field (BAF), Afghanistan. We are seeking information from vendors who can remove solid waste from BAF and dispose of the waste in accordance with all applicable Afghan laws and regulations. Interested vendors may submit a response with the following information: -Complete corporate identifying information, including company name, address, phone number, email, Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) ID number, and CAGE code -A brief synopsis of your corporate experience performing the same or similar requirements and a description of the equipment that your company has to perform such a requirement -An accurate estimate for your company's trash removal capacity. Please indicate how many cubic meters of trash your company has the capacity to remove each day AND how many days per week your company is capable of performing this requirement. Please also include market research pricing demonstrating your pricing structure for this type of requirement. Please note that in accordance with Section 886 of PL 110-181 (as implemented by DFARS 225.77), it is anticipated that this requirement would be limited to host-nation (Afghan) business concerns. Therefore, at this time, the RCC is only seeking responses from Afghan Business concerns. Afghan business concerns may submit an e-mail response to adam.r.goldstein@afghan.swa.army.mil. Responses are due no later than 0900 on 21 Feb 2013. Vendors are urged to keep the file size of their submissions as small as possible. Further, please do not submit more than 10 pages of material all together in your response. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT FORM THE BASIS OF ANY CONTRACT WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.
