Description
THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Stuttgart anticipates a requirement for a contract to provide management of Threatened and Endangered Species (TES) habitats for USAG Stgt. This is a non-personal services performance-based contract to provide TES Management in the Local Training Area (LTA) Boeblingen, Germany. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, transportation and other items or services to ensure TES Management services. Anticipated period of performance for the basic year is contemplated 09 Apr 2013 - 08 Apr 2014. Anticipated award date is 18 Mar 13. Two one-year options may be awarded. In addition, the Government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. The Government may also extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor before expiration of contract period under FAR 52.217-9. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No: W91WFU-13-T-0002 will be issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 0782, business size of $7M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561730. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award to include German vendors. (See Internet Site: https:www.sam.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF to include German vendors, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Information concerning this solicitation will be issued electronically and posted on or about 11 Feb 13 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Quotes may be submitted via hard copy or e-mail.
