- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using acquisition of commercial items procedures under FAR part 12 to procure Defensive Driving Course Alive at 25 Course Guide to include (1) custom guides; and (2) certificate of completion compatible with laser printers for Headquarters Marine Corps, Safety Division, located in Arlington, Virginia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above supplies to National Safety Council, 1121 Spring Lake Drive, ITASCA, IL 60143-0429. The purposed contract action is for supplies for which government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: This requirement delivery date is 15 February 2013. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
